ROOF OPENING PANEL ALIGNMENT

1. NOTE: The roof opening panel must be in the closed position for alignment.

Place a suitable 1.0-1.2 mm (0.040-0.050 in) thick, 150 mm (5.9 in) long plastic spacer between the rear edge of the roof opening panel glass and the roof panel opening.

2. NOTE: Make sure the roof opening panel glass is located centrally in the roof panel opening.

Adjust the rear edge of the roof opening panel glass.
- Loosen the 4 roof opening panel glass screws.
- Push the rear edge up or down to give the correct alignment (0.0-1.0 mm [0.000-0.040 in]).

3. Tighten the 2 rear roof opening panel glass screws.
- Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

4. Adjust the front edge of the roof opening panel glass.
- Push the front edge up or down to give the correct alignment (0.0-1.0 mm [0.000-0.040 in]).

5. Tighten the 2 front roof opening panel glass screws.
- Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

6. NOTE: Remove the plastic spacer. Initialize the roof panel opening motor.

7. Operate the roof opening panel and check the alignment.
8. Check the roof opening panel seal for wind noise and water leaks.
