Removal

CAUTION: Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. If spilled on a plastic surface, wipe up immediately.

1. Remove the transaxle.
2. Clean any grease and foreign material from the input shaft.
3. Remove the 3 clutch slave cylinder bolts and the clutch slave cylinder. Discard the clutch slave cylinder.

Installation

1. NOTE: Do not apply grease on any area of the clutch slave cylinder.

Install a new clutch slave cylinder and the 3 clutch slave cylinder bolts.
^ Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
2. Install the transaxle.
3. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
