Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the RH halfshaft and intermediate shaft assembly.
3. Using the special tools, remove the halfshaft oil seal.





Installation

1. Using the special tool, install the halfshaft oil seal.





2. Install the RH halfshaft and intermediate shaft assembly.

3. NOTE: The fill height is 5-10 mm below the lower edge of the filler hole.

Remove the transmission fluid filler plug. Check the transaxle fluid level and top up with manual transmission fluid as necessary.
^ Tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
