Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Recover the refrigerant. For additional information, refer to Climate Control System - General Information and Diagnostics Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging.

3. Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to Engine Cooling Service and Repair.

4. Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seal.

- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

5. Release the LH and RH upper radiator bracket tabs and remove the LH and RH upper radiator insulators.





6. Remove the 3 radiator support reinforcement bolts and the radiator support reinforcement.

7. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector.

8. Remove the condenser outlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seal.

- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

9. Lift the radiator out of the lower insulator bushings and position it rearward.

10. Release the tabs and detach the condenser core from the radiator.





11. Remove the condenser core.

12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install new O-ring seals and a new gasket seal.

- Add the correct amount of clean PAG oil to the refrigerant system. For additional information, refer to the Refrigerant Oil Adding procedure in Climate Control System - General Information and Diagnostics Service and Repair.

13. Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system. For additional information, refer to Climate Control System - General Information and Diagnostics Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging.
