DTC P0455 / P0456 DUE TO NVLD FILTER CRACK - VEHICLES BUILT ON OR BEFORE 7/19/2010

2011 Fiesta

ISSUE
Some 2011 Fiesta vehicles built on or before 7/19/2010 may exhibit a check engine light with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0455 and/or P0456 due to a crack in the Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) Module filter.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





Inspect filter next to NVLD module for visible cracks. If cracks are found, replace the NVLD module assembly. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-13. (Figure 1)
