2011 Fiesta

ISSUE
Some 2011 Fiesta vehicles built on or before 8/17/2010 may exhibit a hill start assist light, anti-lock brake system (ABS) light, traction control light, and/or malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with one or more the following diagnostic trouble codes (DTC): P0500, U0121, U0415, P1934.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE











1. Inspect bolt head markings on ground G108. (Figures 1-3)

a. If bolt head matches Figure 2 - Torque to 13 N.m (115 lb-in).

b. If bolt head matches Figure 3 - Remove and discard and install new bolt. Torque to 13 N.m (115 lb-in).
