Removal

1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL). For additional information, refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering Air Cleaner.

2. Remove the 4 transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches from the transmission fluid cooler tubes.





3. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the transaxle and the transmission fluid cooler and remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes.

1. Compress the tabs on the transmission fluid cooler tube latches and slide the latch out of the transmission fluid cooler tube to unlock the transmission fluid cooler tube from the transaxle or transmission fluid cooler.

2. Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes.





Installation

1. If the transmission fluid cooler tube latches are not in the unlocked position, compress the tabs on the transmission fluid cooler tube latches and slide the latch out of the transmission fluid cooler tube to unlock the latch.





2. Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes. Connect the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the transaxle and the transmission fluid cooler until they bottom out and slide the latches to the locked position.
- Pull back on each connector to confirm that it is locked on the transaxle or the transmission fluid cooler.





3. Install the 4 transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches.





4. Install the ACL. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering Air Cleaner.

5. Check the transmission fluid and fill if necessary.
