Removal

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

3. NOTE:
- Note the position of the component before removal.
- Make sure the component is installed to the position noted before removal.
- Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.

Visual check.
Torque: 55 Nm







4. NOTICE: If the safety belt webbing retracts further than the safety belt webbing stop, a new safety belt retractor must be installed.

8. NOTE:
- Touching the adhesive surface will impair rebonding.
- During installation, apply 3M(TM) Fast Tack Adhesive (08031, 08033, 08034) to retain the backrest carpet.

Torque: 48 Nm







Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
