Luggage Compartment Lid Hinge

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. Remove the luggage compartment trim panels.

2. Remove the luggage compartment lid. REFER to Luggage Compartment Lid .

3. For the LH (Left Hand) hinge, disconnect the luggage compartment lid hydraulic support at the hinge.





4. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Disconnect the luggage compartment lid hinge spring at the hinge.





5. Remove the parcel shelf trim. REFER to Parcel Shelf .

6. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. REFER to D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan. D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan

7. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Remove the luggage compartment lid hinge-to-parcel shelf bolts and remove the hinge.





Installation

1. Install the luggage compartment lid hinge in the vehicle.

2. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Install the luggage compartment lid hinge-to-body bolts.
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)





3. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Connect the luggage compartment lid hinge spring.





4. For the LH (Left Hand) side, connect the hydraulic support.





5. Install the luggage compartment lid. REFER to Luggage Compartment Lid .

6. Adjust the luggage compartment lid. REFER to Luggage Compartment Lid Alignment .

7. Install the parcel shelf trim. REFER to Parcel Shelf .

8. Install the D-pillar trim panel. REFER to D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan. D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door Sedan

9. Install the luggage compartment trim panels.
