Removal and Replacement




Engine Mount

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Jacking and Lifting Vehicle Lifting.

2. Remove the 8 retainers and the underbody insulator.





3. Release the 2 tabs and position the degas bottle aside.





4. Remove the A/C (Air Conditioning) line support bracket bolt.





5. Detach the A/C (Air Conditioning) line from the retainer on the engine mount and remove the retainer from the engine mount.





6. NOTE: Do not support the engine on the A/C (Air Conditioning) compressor.
Using a floor jack and a wooden block, support the engine using the oil pan.





7. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and the engine mount.





Installation

1. Install the engine mount and install the 2 nuts and bolts finger tight and tighten in 2 stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten the 2 bolts to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
- Stage 2: Tighten the 2 nuts to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).





2. Install the A/C (Air Conditioning) line retainer onto the engine mount and position the A/C (Air Conditioning) line in the retainer.





3. Install the A/C (Air Conditioning) line support bracket bolt.
- Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).





4. Position the degas bottle on the 2 retainer tabs.





5. Install the underbody insulator and the 8 retainers.
