Removal

WARNING: Always disconnect the battery ground cable at the battery when working on an EVAP (Evaporative Emission) system or fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. REFER to General Procedure .
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. REFER to Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe - 2.0L GDI .

4. Disconnect the 2 EVAP (Evaporative Emission) canister purge valve quick connect couplings. REFER to Quick Connect Coupling - Type 1 .

Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carry out the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. REFER to Evaporative Emission System Leak Test Evaporative Emission System Leak Test.
