Fuel Vapor Tube Assembly

Removal

WARNING: Do not carry personal electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers or audio equipment of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Always disconnect the battery ground cable at the battery when working on an EVAP (Evaporative Emission) system or fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Lifting Points .
2. Remove the fuel tank. REFER to Fuel Tank .
3. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube assembly quick connect coupling from the fuel tank. REFER to Quick Connect Coupling - Type 1 .
- Detach the fuel vapor tube assembly from the fuel tank.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carry out the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. REFER to Evaporative Emission System Leak Test Evaporative Emission System Leak Test.
