Roll Restrictor

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Lifting Points .

2. Remove the 8 retainers and the underbody insulator.





3. Remove the roll restrictor bolts.





4. Remove the roll restrictor-to-transaxle bracket bolts and the roll restrictor.





Installation

1. Install the roll restrictor and the roll restrictor-to-transaxle bracket bolts.






- Tighten to 86 Nm (63 lb-ft).

2. Install the roll restrictor bolts.






- Tighten to 86 Nm (63 lb-ft).

3. Install the underbody insulator and the 8 retainers.
