Rear Safety Belt Retractor

Removal

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

1. W504775 (Safety belt retractor bolt) Torque: 40 Nm
2. 54611B68 (Safety belt retractor)
3. W707941 (Safety belt anchor bolt) Torque: 47.5 Nm
4. Part of 54611B68 (Safety belt anchor)







3. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
Refer to: C-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

4. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt.
5. Remove the safety belt retractor bolt and the safety belt retractor.

Installation

1. Position the safety belt retractor and install the bolt.
Torque: 40 Nm

2. Install the C-pillar trim panel.
Refer to: C-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

3. Position the safety belt anchor and install the bolt.
Torque: 47.5 Nm

4. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
Refer to: Safety Belt System (501-20A Safety Belt System, Diagnosis and Testing).
