The following information covers the top tether anchor installation instructions for rear seat application which was inadvertently omitted from the 1989 GEO Metro Service Manual.
Refer to Installation on next page.
1. Determine location of child restraint seat (left or right).
2. Locate top tether anchor plug(s) and remove.
3. Install top tether anchor assembly with 5/16" bolt and torque to specification.
