Choke Valve

REMOVAL:


1. Remove air cleaner.

2. Cover carburetor to prevent debris from entering the engine.

Choke Indexing:

3. Check the markings on the housing coincide with the markings on the cover.

4. Remove rivet heads using a drill.

INSTALLATION:

1. Secure thermostatic spring end to the choke lever and install housing.

2. Install retainer and align the marks of the cover and housing.

3. Rivet retainer and housing with a rivet tool.

Choke Indexing:

4. Ensure marks are properly aligned.
