Liquid Leak Detectors

There are many locations (fittings, valves, etc.) on the A/C system where a liquid leak detector solution can be used to pinpoint refrigerant leaks.

Using a soap-and-water solution, apply the solution to the suspected area. Bubbles will form in seconds if there is a leak.

For areas with restricted access (such as sections of the evaporator and condenser) an electronic leak detector is more practical for locating leaks.
