Enabling the SIR System

1. On 1991 models, turn ignition switch to Off position.
2. On 1992 models, turn ignition switch to LOCK position.
3. On all models, connect yellow two-way SIR electrical connector inside inflator module housing, then install Connector Position Assurance (CPA).
4. Install SIR IG fuse into SIR fuse block, then the rear plastic access cover onto inflator module housing.
5. Turn ignition switch to Run position and ensure that ``Inflatable Restraint'' lamp flashes 7 to 9 times and then shuts Off.
