Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check Fuses C-4, E-3, E-7, and E-8 with a fuse tester.

2. Check that the Daytime Running Lights Relay-3 and Lighting Relay are securely mounted in the FUSE AND RELAY BOX.


3. Check that Diode E-4, Daytime Running Lights Relay-1, Daytime Running Lights Relay-2, Daytime Running Lights Cut Relay, and (Fog Lamp) Relay are securely mounted in the RELAY BOX.

4. Check that grounds G102, G103 and G201 are clean and tight.

5. If only one lamp is inoperative, check that the lamp socket for corrosion. Also check the power/ground circuits to that lamp for opens.

6. Make certain that the charging system is functioning normally before beginning system diagnosis.

7. Make certain that the parking brake indicator is functioning normally before beginning system diagnosis.

8. If FOG LAMPS operate but Fog Lamp Indicator does not, replace FOG LAMP SWITCH.
