Enabling the SIR System

1. Turn ignition key to the LOCK position.
2. On models with passenger's air bag, connect passenger's inflator module yellow 2-way connector and secure with Connector Position Assurance (CPA).
3. On all models, connect yellow 2-way connector on the lower steering column and secure with Connector Position Assurance (CPA).
4. Install IGN, CIG and RADIO fuses.
5. Turn ignition key to ACC or RUN position and verify that the air bag indicator illuminates steady for approximately six seconds and then turns off. If lamp does not operate as specified, refer to System Diagnosis.
