Main and rod service bearings are available in 5 standard sizes, marked 1 through 5. If replacing a bearing, replace with one having the same number. If the number of the bearing cannot be determined, select a bearing according to the numbers imprinted on the cylinder block and crankshaft then refer to Fig. 43 & 44 for proper bearing number.
