Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield or insulator.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Disconnect front exhaust pipe.
5. Remove exhaust manifold support bracket.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Disconnect oxygen sensor.
8. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then exhaust manifold.
9. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specification.
