Troubleshooting Hints - Exterior Lights

PROCEDURE
1. PARK LAMPS:
^ Check the tail fuse with a fuse tester.
^ Check that the Taillamp relay is securely mounted in Junction Block 1.
^ Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Make sure that grounds G102, G104, G200, G300 and G400 are clean and tight.

2. For inoperative Turn/Hazard Lamps.
^ Check the TURN Fuse with a fuse tester.
^ Check the HAZ-HORN Fuse with a fuse tester.
^ Check that the Turn/Hazard Flasher is securely mounted in the Relay Block Cassette.
^ Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Check that grounds G102, G104, G200 and G400 are clean and tight.

3. For inoperative Stoplamps.
^ Check the STOP Fuse with a fuse tester.
^ Make sure that the Stoplamp Switch is properly adjusted.
^ Check for an open or shorted filament within the inoperative bulb.
^ Check that grounds G300 and G400 are clean and tight.

4. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
