Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Fig. 3 Throttle Cable Adjustment.:

1. Hold accelerator pedal in fully depressed position, then loosen cable adjusting nuts. Fig. 3 .
2. Adjust cable to obtain 0.04 inch between end of boot and stopper on cable, then tighten adjusting nut.
3. Fully depress accelerator pedal and recheck adjustment, then road test vehicle.
