Manual Gear Range Selection

1. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in "D" (drive) position. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify that:
- Transaxle upshifts from 1st to 2nd gear.
- Transaxle upshifts from 2nd to 3rd gear.

2. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in "2" (second) position. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify:
- Transaxle upshifts from 1st to 2nd gear.

3. Accelerate to 40 km/h (25 mph) and verify:
- Transaxle does not upshift from 2nd to 3rd gear.
- TCC does not engage.

4. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in "L" (low) position. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify:
- Transaxle does not upshift from 1st to 2nd gear.
- TCC does not engage.

5. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in "R" (reverse) position. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify:
- Vehicle moves in a rearward direction.
