Power Lumbar Support Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in the area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the front seat-back cover Front Seat-back Cover/Pad Replacement.

2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the lumbar support motor (B).






3. Test the motor in each direction by connecting battery power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect one lead immediately.





4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace it Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat.
