Front Seat Recline Cover Removal/Installation
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to tear the seams of damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Manual Seat
1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Passenger's seat: Remove these items:
- Subwoofer (for some models) Speaker Test/Replacement
- Front seat belt buckle Front Seat Belt Replacement
3. Pull back the cap (A) to release the hooks (B), and remove the screws, then remove the height adjuster handle (C).
4. Remove the recline outer cover (A).
1. Remove the recline knob (B), and remove the screw.
2. Fold back the seat to fully.
3. Detach the clip by pulling the outer cover back by hand.
4. Using a trim tool, and release the hooks (C) along the upper edge of the outer cover.
5. Gently pull out the outer cover, and remove it to the back.
5. Remove the recline inner cover (A).
1. Carefully pry up the cap (B), and remove the screw.
2. Fold back the seat to fully.
3. Detach the clips by pulling the inner cover back by hand.
4. Using a trim tool, release the hooks (C) along the upper edge of the inner cover.
5. Gently pull out the inner cover, and remove it to the back.
6. Install the recline covers in the reverse order of removal. Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
8-way Power Seat
1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Remove the recline inner cover (A).
1. Carefully pry up the cap (B), and remove it.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Detach the hook (C) by pulling the out the front portion of the inner cover from the front cover (D). If the hook securing the cover is hard to detach, pry it with a trim tool.
3. Remove the screw, gently pull out the center cover (E) to detach the hooks (F), and release the hook (G), then remove cover.
4. Remove the screw, then release the hooks (A), then remove the front cover (B).
5. Remove the recline outer cover (A).
1. Remove the screw and detach the hooks (B).
2. Pull up the cover, then detach the hooks (C).
3. Disconnect the recline switch and the up-down switch connector (D), the lumber support switch connector (E).
6. Install the recline cover in the reverse order of removal. Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
