Instrument Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.

1. Remove these items:

- Driver's vent panel Drivers Vent Panel Removal/Installation
- Center upper dashboard panel Center Upper Dashboard Panel Removal/Installation
- Instrument upper visor Instrument Upper Visor Removal/Installation

2. Gently pull up the instrument panel (A) by hand from the driver's vent panel and center upper panel openings to detach the clips. Disconnect the automatic lighting sensor connector (B), if equipped.






3. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Make sure the automatic lighting sensor connector is plugged in properly, if equipped.
