DTC 1409:

Audio Error 9 (XM Error)

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- This navigation DTC sets when an XM antenna malfunction is detected, or if there is a problem with the XM circuit.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.

1. Clear the hard error code How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

3. Check for the hard error code How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

Is DTC 1409 indicated at the time you cycled the vehicle?

YES -

Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the AM/FM/XM antenna, if they are OK, do the diagnosis for the AM/FM/XM antenna in the audio system.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
