Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2608

DTC 2608:

R-Camera Diag

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- This navigation DTCs set when a communication error between the rearview camera and the navigation display (open or short) is detected.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

3. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu Navigation System Diagnostic Mode.

4. Check the System Links.

Is the R-camera icon red?

YES -

Go to step 5.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

5. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at rearview camera 6P connector.

Are the connections OK?

YES -

Go to step 6.

NO -

Repair poor connections or loose terminals.�

6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

7. Disconnect rearview camera 6P connector.

8. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

9. Measure the voltage between rearview camera 6P connector terminals No. 6 and body ground.





Is there voltage about 3.0 V?

YES -

Replace the rearview camera Service and Repair.�

NO -

Go to step 10.

10. Measure the voltage between audio-navigation unit connector F (7P) terminals No. 7 and body ground.





Is there voltage about 3.0 V?

YES -

Repair an open in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and rearview camera.�

NO -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.�
