Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.

1. Adjust the steering column to the full tilt up position.

2. Remove the driver's dashboard undercover Driver's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation.

3. Gently pull out on the lower edge of the dashboard lower cover (A) to detach the lower clips.






4. Pull back the driver's dashboard lower cover (A) to detach the clips, and release the hooks (B).






5. If necessary, remove the screws, then remove the driver's lower pocket (A) from the dashboard lower cover (B).





6. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
