Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair

Yaw Rate-Lateral Acceleration Sensor Replacement

NOTE:

- Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.
- Do not use air or electric impact tools.

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

2. Remove both sides of the center lower cover Dashboard Center Lower Cover Removal/Installation.

3. Disconnect the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor 4P connector (A).





4. Remove the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor mounting bolts, then remove the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor (B).

5. Install the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
