A/T Shift Lever Knob Replacement

NOTE:

- Refer to the Shift Lever Disassembly and Reassembly A/T Shift Lever Disassembly/Reassembly as needed during the following procedures.
- Do not wipe off the grease that is applied to the portion of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble or assemble it because a special grease is used.

1. Wrap the end of a flat-tip screwdriver (A) with tape, pry the shift lever knob cover locks (B), and remove the shift lever knob cover (C).






2. Remove the screws (A), the shift lever button (B), and the spring (C).





3. Remove the D3 switch (D) by expanding its locks (E) from the shift lever knob, and remove the shift lever knob (F).

4. Install the shift lever button spring (A) and the shift lever button (B) in the shift lever knob (C), and install the shift lever knob over the shift lever.





5. Secure the shift lever knob with new screws (D).

6. Install the D3 switch (E) and the shift lever knob cover (F) on the shift lever knob.

7. Install the shift lever A/T Shift Lever Installation.
