Rear Seat Recline Adjuster Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the rear seat.

2. Remove these items from the rear seat:

- Rear seat-back cover Rear Seat-Back Cover Replacement
- Rear seat support Rear Seat Support Removal/Installation
- Rear seat hinge lock Rear Seat Hinge Lock Removal/Installation

3. From under the seat cushion, release the hook strips, and pull back the seat cushion cover.

4. Release the hook strips from the seat cushion frame.

5. Remove the handle from the hook strap, and pull out the hook strap through the slit in the seat cushion cover.

6. Remove the screw, and pull out the strap.

7. Child seat anchor cover.

8. Release the hooks securing the seat cushion cover from the recline cover.

9. Turn over the seat cushion cover. Remove the screw, and pull the recline cover down to release the hook.

10. Remove the nut, then remove the recline strap from the recline adjuster lever.

11. Remove the bolts, then remove the recline adjuster (A).





12. Install the recline adjuster in the reverse order of removal, and apply multipurpose grease to the moving parts of the recline adjuster.
