Dashboard Center Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Insert the hook-shaped tool into the notches (A), and pry out along the edge of the radio panel (B) to detach the clips, then remove the panel.






2. M/T: Remove the shift knob (A).






3. Remove the center panel (A).

1. Apply protective tape to the dashboard where the lower area of the panel.

2. Carefully insert the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips, then pull out the panel.

3. While holding the panel, disconnect the heater control unit connector (B), the hazard warning switch connector (C), and the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator connector (D).

NOTE: A/T is shown; M/T is similar.





4. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips into place securely.
