ECT Sensor 1 Replacement

1. Remove the air cleaner Service and Repair.

2. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve Service and Repair.

3. Remove the under-hood fuse/relay box bolt, and move the assembly aside.

4. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

5. Disconnect the ECT sensor 1 connector (A).





6. Remove ECT sensor 1 (B).

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C) coated with clean engine oil, then refill the radiator with engine coolant Service and Repair.
