Interior Light Switch Test/Replacement

'09-11 models with overhead console

1. Remove the front individual map lights Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P*1 (4P*2) connector (A) from the interior light switch (B) and the 3P connector (C) from the map light (D).









3. Remove the interior light switch from the map light housing.

4. At the interior light switch 10P*1 (4P*2) connector, check for continuity between terminals No. 1*1(No. 4*2) and No. 9*1 (No. 1*2).





- There should be continuity when the interior light switch is in the DOOR position.
- There should be no continuity when the interior light switch is in the OFF position.

5. If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the switch.

6. Install the switch and light in the reverse order of removal.
