DTC Troubleshooting: B2055

DTC B2055:

Right Power Sliding Door Control Unit Lost Communication With MICU

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).

3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B2055 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 4.

NO -

Intermittent failure. The right power sliding door system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the right power sliding door system connector, and at the MICU connector.�

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTCs B1055, B1106, B1157, B1255, B1355, B1556, B1806, B1955, and/or B2005 also indicated?

YES -

Go to step 7.

NO -

Go to step 5.

5. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

6. Do the right power sliding door control unit input test Power Sliding Door Control Unit Input Test.

Is the input test OK?

YES -

Replace the right power sliding door control unit.�

NO -

Refer to the right power sliding door control unit input test and correct the cause.�

7. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

8. Do the MICU input test MICU Input Test.

Is the input test OK?

YES -

Faulty MICU, replace the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.�

NO -

Refer to the MICU input test and correct the cause.�
