RES disc does not eject

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- Check the connector for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Discs with labels should not be used in the DVD player unit. They may damage the player mechanism.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Try ejecting a disc.

Does the disc eject?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the DVD player unit is OK at this time.�

NO -

Go to step 3.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

4. Disconnect the DVD player unit connector A (22P) and wait 2 minutes, then reconnect the connector.

NOTE: Eject all the CD/DVDs before removing the DVD player to prevent damaging the DVD player's load mechanism.

5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

6. Try ejecting a disc.

Does the disc eject?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the DVD player unit is OK at this time.�

NO -

Replace the DVD player unit Service and Repair.�
