Sliding Door Harness: Testing and Inspection

CESS Articulated Harness Test

1. Remove the sliding door panel Sliding Door Panel Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect connector A (16P)* and connector B (8P) from the sliding door wire harness.






3. Disconnect connector C (16P)* and connector D (8P) from the floor wire harness.










4. Check for continuity between CESS articulated harness connector A (16P) and connector C (16P) terminals and connector B (8P) and connector D (8P) terminals while sliding the door from fully open to fully closed. There should be continuity through the full range of motion. If there is a lack of continuity at any point of motion, replace the CESS articulation harness.
