Power Tailgate Drive Unit Replacement

1. Remove the left rear pillar Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas and the headliner Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 2P and 8P connectors (A) from the drive unit (B).





3. Close the tailgate, then remove the bolt and support strut (C).

4. Remove the mounting bolts and drive unit (A).





5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
