Ignition Coil and Spark Plug Removal/Installation

J35A6, '07 model J35A7 engines

1. Remove the engine cover Engine Removal.

2. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (A), then remove the ignition coils (B).

3. Remove the spark plugs and inspect them Testing and Inspection.

4. Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the plug threads, and screw the plugs into the cylinder head, finger tight. Torque them to 18 Nm (1.8 kg-m, 13 lb-ft).

5. Install the ignition coils in the reverse order of removal.
