Low tire pressure indicator does not go off, and no DTCs are stored - with MID
NOTE: If the low tire pressure indicator is turned on at the same time as the TPMS indicator, go to the following TPMS symptom troubleshooting first : TPMS indicator does not go off, and no DTCs are stored TPMS Indicator Does Not Go Off, And No DTCs Are Stored.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Check the low tire pressure indicator for several seconds when the ignition switch is turned to ON (II).
Did the indicator come on, and then blink for about 75 seconds?
YES -
Check for gauge DTCs with the HDS and go to the indicated gauge DTC's troubleshooting.�
NO -
Go to step 3
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
4. Disconnect the TPMS control unit 20P connector Service and Repair.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
6. Check the low tire pressure indicator for several seconds when the ignition switch is turned to ON (II).
Did the indicator come on and then blink for about 75 seconds?
YES -
Replace the TPMS control unit Service and Repair.�
NO -
Do the troubleshooting for the gauge control module Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview. If necessary, substitute a known-good gauge control module Service and Repair, and recheck.�
