DTC 1402:

Audio Error 2

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
- This navigation DTC sets when the audio unit detects a mechanical malfunction in the audio disc changer.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).

3. Check for the hard error code.

Is DTC 1402 indicated?

YES -

Go into the Self-Diagnostic Function in the audio unit, and check CD Error Codes Audio System Error Codes. If the error codes is not indicated, go to affected troubleshooting in audio section.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
