Fuel Fill Door/Adapter Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.

1. Remove the rear inner fender on the left side Front Inner Fender Replacement.

2. Remove the fuel filler cap (A) by turning it counterclockwise, and remove the screw.






3. From inside the wheelhouse, remove the bolts securing the fuel filler pipe (A).






4. From inside the wheelhouse, carefully push up the adapter lip (A) around the fuel filler pipe (B), and release the hooks (C).






5. Remove the right side of the fuel fill door/adapter (A) from the body while an assistant unlocks the fuel fill door latch (B) by pulling the fuel fill door opener.






6. Remove the fuel fill door/adapter (A) from the body while turning the fuel fill door/adapter 90° clockwise.






7. Install the fuel fill door/adapter in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the adapter lip (A) is fully seated on the fuel fill pipe (B).
