Second Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- The left second row seat is shown; the right second row seat is similar.

1. Remove the second row seat Second Row Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Remove the seat belt buckles (A) and seat belt detachable anchor (B) from the elastic straps (C).






3. With seat heater: Disconnect the heater connector (A) from the seat cushion frame.






4. From both sides of the seat, release the tabs (A, B), then remove the pivot bolt cover (C). Remove the pivot bolt with a TORX T30 bit.






5. Lift the seat cushion (A) up.






6. Remove the TORX screw and gently pull out the recline outer cover (A) to detach the clips and to release the hooks (B), then remove the cover while releasing the inside edge (C).






7. Gently pull out the recline inner cover (A) to detach the clips, and to release the tabs (B), then remove the cover while releasing the inside edge (C).






8. Remove the wire ties (A).






9. Remove the nuts, then remove the seat cushion (A).






10. Assemble the second row seat in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:

- Replace any damaged clips with new ones.
- Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
- With seat heater: Replace the wire ties you removed with new ones.
- With seat heater: Make sure the seat cushion heater connector is plugged in properly.
