Removal and Replacement

ATF Cooler Replacement

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is supported securely.

2. Remove the splash shield (A).





3. Remove the front bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement, and remove the front bumper Service and Repair.

4. Remove the hose clamp (A), and remove the ATF cooler inlet hose (B) and the outlet hose (C) from the hose clamps (D), then disconnect the hoses from the ATF cooler lines.






5. Remove the power steering fluid hose clamp (A) from the ATF cooler mounting bracket.





6. Remove the ATF cooler (B), and disconnect the ATF cooler hoses (C), then replace the ATF cooler.

7. Connect the ATF cooler hoses to the ATF cooler Service and Repair.

8. Install the ATF cooler.

9. Install the power steering fluid hose clamp on the bracket.

10. Connect the ATF cooler hoses, then install the hose clamps Service and Repair.

11. Install the front bumper Service and Repair, and install the front bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.

12. Install the splash shield.

13. Check the ATF level ATF Level Check.
