VSA DTC Troubleshooting: 62

DTC 62:

IG1 Voltage High

1. Check the charging system Alternator and Regulator Circuit Troubleshooting.

Is the charging system OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Do the alternator and regulator circuit troubleshooting Alternator and Regulator Circuit Troubleshooting, then recheck.�

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

3. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

5. Test-drive the vehicle at 19 mph (30 km/h) or more.

NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.

6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 62 indicated?

YES -

Replace the VSA modulator-control unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
