Display can be opened and/or closed even when a CD is being inserted or ejected

1. Go into the Diagnostic Mode and use the Navi System Link test to check the connection between the navigation display unit and the audio disc changer.

Is the 6 CD icon red?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Go to step 3.

2. Check to see if the navigation display unit connector B (10P) and the audio disc changer connector A (18P) are connected securely.

Are the connectors connected securely?

YES -

Check for an open in the wire between navigation display unit connector B (10P) terminal No. 10 and audio disc changer connector A (18P) terminal No. 4. If open, repair the wire.�

NO -

Reconnect the connectors.�

3. Substitute a known-good navigation display unit Service and Repair, and check to see if the display and the audio disc changer work normally.

Do the display and the audio disc changer work normally?

YES -

Replace the navigation display unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Replace the audio disc changer Service and Repair.�
