Mirror Holder Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Carefully push on the top edge of the mirror holder (A) by hand.

2. Put a shop towel in the opening between the bottom edge of the mirror holder and the mirror housing (B) to prevent scratches. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver through the slot (C) at the bottom of the mirror holder.

3. Twist the screwdriver to release the clips (A) from the actuator (B). Carefully pull out the bottom edge of the mirror holder (C), then separate the mirror holder from the actuator by releasing the hooks (D). Disconnect the mirror defogger connectors (E) from the heater pad terminals.

4. Reconnect the mirror defogger connectors.

5. Reattach the hooks of the mirror holder to the actuator, then position the mirror holder on the actuator. Carefully push on the clip portions of the mirror holder until the mirror holder locks into place.

6. Check the operation of the actuator.
